Department of Tourism’s food and travel festival continues to celebrate our countries diverse Filipino culinary heritage with it’s campaign Kain Na! This year, join me as i visit the City of Friendship, Cagayan De Oro.
The bounty gathering happened last Nov. 22 -24 2019 at Ayala Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City parading the region’s specialty. Some Local chefs also graced the event to present their craft such as Chef Neal Roa and Chef Rowel Gomez from Region 10 who cooked pineapple chicken stew and Bukidnon roast beef, Chef Roseller Fiel from Lanao del Norte who cooked chicken biryani, beef randang, and browa. alongside with other talented chefs that aims to introduce their creations thru food and agriculture.
This festive event of Department of Tourism held in partnership with the Ayala Malls, aims to promote distinct regional Filipino cuisine and tourism destinations not only to our fellow filipinos but to everyone who wants to visit, try and enjoy what the Philippines has to offer.
Make sure to catch the next leg of Kain Na! on December 6–8 at Ayala Malls, The Strip, Iloilo City, with Region 6 (Western Visayas) taking the spotlight.
